Mailatale Review: Guess Who’s Got Mail?

If You’re a Dreamer…Come In!

As soon as I saw the package, I was super excited and what a most enticing way to get my little bookworm more anxious to see what was inside.

Many of you know that Gabs is a huge book worm, she loves reading and she sure loves narrating stories and loves to use tone of voice and expression. She has often told me that exploring other worlds and adventures is one of her favorite things to do.

Books offer round-trip tickets all across the universe!

That is why when I had the chance to review Mailatale, I was stoked.

What is Mailatale?

For $28. 95 You Will Get:

  • What they like, what’d they would prefer and all in different themes every single month.
  • Age appropriate titles.
  • 2-3 full-retail value titles.
  • Satisfied little bookworms.

It’ s a monthly subscription that is catered to YOUR child.

Gabriella received June’s book selections. The theme was modern fairy tales-classic stores with a twist and Gabs is definitely a fairy tale junkie. As soon as she saw this very personalized post card for Mailatale she was smiling ear to ear and felt so special.

The titles we received were Princess Hyacinth and Windblowne.

The stories are cute, especially Princess Hyacinth who has a peculiar problem, she can’t play with the other kids in the palace grounds because, well–she floats! You step into her world and discover new friendships.

In Windblowne, you watch Oliver discover the distance between realities and that they are equal to the breadth of a kite string. You get to experience what it’s like to be lifted up by a kite!

I loved that they sent a chapter book. She is a pretty avid reader and loves reading them and I love how they balanced it with a great story in Princess Hyacinth that has beautiful pictures, fun illustrations that make it a great book.

Captivated.

What I love about this service is that not only is it budget-friendly (because it totally is)  but, it’s personalized to what your child likes, books that are appropriate for their age and that you get to choose alongside them. I love the fact that Mailatale makes reading even more magical than it already is simply because it’s a package strictly for your child. They will love receiving mail and even better when they wait to discover which books are waiting to be read by them!

For us parents, the price is billed monthly and if you compare a trip to your local book store, you are apt to spend more than this on one visit. I think that having a subscription like this is cost-effective and it adds that uniqueness and personalization that kids love.

Why Join Mailatale?

I don’t know about you but, I love the look on this face when she’s lost in a good story.

But, really you will get paperbacks that you can share and hard covers to add to your treasured book collection. The subscription comes with no strings attached. You don’t pay fees to join, you don’t pay fees to unsubscribe and you can rest assured that you will always get 100% retail value.

So, whether your child is a teeny baby or school-aged–Mailatale serves from Birth to 10 years old!

It was SUPER easy to get the books too, I loved that they sent you plenty of choices for your child. Also the information and updates are great, they have free shipping and they even send you notifications when your package has been sent and a tracking number to see where it is.

Mailatale makes a great gift too for all you Aunties and Uncles and Grandparents.

What better gift than the gift of reading?
