Selena Gomez Nicole by OPI Holiday Gift Sets.

We had the opportunity to test out the gift sets from Selena Gomez and Nicole by OPI, we were just a bit excited. The colors are deep and rich and we could totally picture rockin’ the holidays with these shades.

Each gift set includes a Selena Gomez lacquer plus a free mini bottle of the NEW silver Gumdrop lacquer; a limited edition matte textured shade – exclusively to these sets! Gift set #1 includes Pretty in Plum and gift set #2 includes Scarlett.

Susana designed two fantastic holiday designs, just time in for the holidays. They are super easy and one look can be worn for Christmas and the other can be shown off for New Years Eve.

Deck Out Your Nails!

You can achieve a Very Merry Holiday look with this easy nail design that resembles a beautiful Christmas ornament! Since the color used was a bit mature and not exactly my fave, using the silver glitter polish underneath gave it a gorgeous gritty/sandy look and feel which completely transformed the look of the polish.  The lacquer on it’s own is a bit brassy but, adding Gumdrops underneath did the trick for a more trendier look.

Get This Look!

Step 1: Start off by using Nicole by OPI’s Gumdrops lacquer (the silver) and painting your whole nails.

Step 2: When nails are thoroughly dried make a criss cross stripe pattern using nail tape on your nails and proceed to paint your entire nails with Nicole by OPI‘s Scarlett. The purpose is to coat the whole nail including the nail tape with two coats of polish.

Step 3: Wait until nails are 100% completely dried to the touch or your design may fail. Once dried remove striping tape, clean up around the nails with nail polish remover and add your favorite top coat.

Simple but Fabulous New Years Nails!

With this look, you can complement that perfect little black dress and you’ll be ready to ring in the New Year in style. It’s simple but, totally sophisticated yet playful. Deep plum, classy black and a splash of glitter. You really can’t go wrong.

Class It Up!

Step 1: Start by painting entire nails Black.

Step 2: Once nails are dry, use tape or labeling stickers to create horizontal stripes of your desired thickness. They can be all thick or both thick and thin, get creative on this one.

Step 3: Once you’ve covered your nails with the tape paint the spaces between the tape with the Nicole by OPI’s Gumdrops Silver lacquer and another space with the gorgeous purple color (Pretty in Plum) by Nicole by OPI.

Step 4: Wait for polish to completely dry and then remove the tape stripes, revealing the simple but sophisticated stripe look. Clean up around your nails with nail polish remover, then use your fave top coat and Done!

I absolutely LOVED both Gumdrops and Pretty in Plum from Nicole O.P.I’s Selena Gomez collection. The colors are interchangeable and timeless.
