  1. I can remember shopping at Zellers with my Grammie when I was little. We used to always stop for tea, it was "our place". Now that my girls are grown I shop there with them and stop for tea – now it's "our place". It will be missed!

  2. Living so remote we didn't get to Zellers a lot but when we did, they always had what we needed. Sad that they are closing.

  3. I remember shopping at Zellers when I was really little with my grandparents. They always had great prices

  4. Great Videos! I guess I'm sad to see Zellers go, from a familiarity point of view. The harsh reality is that there are so many places to shop nowadays, that it'll probably not make a blip on the radar screen when it goes.

    Thanks for sharing the video!!

    1. LOL, Oh CHRIS! I had some fond memories of Zellers simply because BEFORE there really wasn't so many choices. It sucks to see it go.

  5. I used to love going to Zellers with my mom and grandmother for a little shopping and then my grandmother would always treat us to lunch, and of course a lollipop. Sad to see it go.

  6. I'm loving their videos!! It makes me wish they aren't saying goodbye. I don't know if I have any remarkable memories about Zellers. I do remember going to their restaurant often, 'cause the BF (now hubby) and I couldn't spend much more as students, lol.

  7. Stopping by again and waving hi! Of course I had to rewatch the video. Perfect when you're in need of a laugh.

I have to say one of my memorable Zellers moments is back when I was in college. I went to the store to buy a drink and chocolate bar. While waiting in line, one of the signs they have hanging above the registers broke and came swinging side sways, smacking me right in the middle of the forehead. I was dazed and a little confused, but otherwise okay. LOL.

  8. I have to admit when I was growing up we shopped more at Woodwards and Kmart than Zellers but now I go there fairly often.
