PLAYMOBIL Ghostbusters Play Sets!

As kids, my siblings and I grew up watching the Ghostbusters series. While some parts were spooky, most of it was a lot of fun and silly. We loved seeing Slimer slide through the screen and the Ghostbusters set out to catch all of the specters and ghosts that wouldn’t leave the world of the living.

When they announced that there would be a new Ghostbusters movie and that the gang would be all women. One of which is my spirit animal, Melissa McCarthy, well–I was over the moon. Mimi of course, tends to be a bit timid when it comes to spooky tales but, she had to watch old cartoons and loved the whole concept of catching ghosts!

Unleash Your Imagination!

Once we opened the set, we were impressed! There were so many details that will help your child bring the firehouse to life. It took Hubs and Mimi about 40 minutes to build and it is pretty tall. Needless to say, Mimi absolutely loved this set. Especially all of the accessories and ectoplasm!

Classic!

This Ghostbusters Firehouse is an amazing set and what’s more, it is a part of a whole series that’s available in PLAYMOBIL sets. We were able to check out the classic and iconic Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. Let me tell you, I always thought he was adorable but, man, he can scare the bejesus out of you!

He has moveable arms and you can send him stomping through the streets. Mimi loves that he looks fluffy and cute but, also is in love with the ability to have him terrorize through the streets. Because, it’s make-believe and fun!

Time to Play!

With summer here, there are plenty of days to play. I know that Mimi would play for hours with these sets if I let her. In fact, she’d probably be there all day! I love how intricate they are and that they’ve thought of every detail. Especially being a Ghostbusters fan myself, it is fun to see that my kids get a shot at playing inside this Ghostbuster universe too.

I dont even know who i saw them with but i assume my parents. the part i always liked the best is the stay puft marshmallow man.. not because of his character or anything to do with him.. it was the concept of thinking of something that came to life. even tho as an older person it seems way scarier than seeing it as a kid .
