Two tear drop shaped quills shown as demonstration.

Step 1:

You can use quilling strips or you can also prepare your own quilling strips from colored craft papers or colored cardstock paper. Use the slotted quilling tool to make loose coil.

Press any one side of that coil to make a teardrop shape.

Make 2 quilled teardrop shapes, 1 big and the other one relatively smaller. Keep a small part of the big teardrop shape’s open end outside of the shape.

Tear drop quilled paper and triange quilled paper for fish body.

Step 2:

Take the small teardrop shape and flatten its curved side to create a triangle shape.

Triangle quilled fin is pressed in.

Step 3:

Press the middle point of the triangle shape’s any one straight ends to make an arrowhead shape.

The body and fin being put together with glue.

Step 4:

Apply glue on the big teardrop shape’s extra part on the outside.

A shape of a fish has now taken form and a googly eye added to fish.

Step 5:

Join the arrowhead shape’s pointy end with the glued part of the teardrop shape. The fish pattern is ready! Now attach the googly eye on the teardrop shape to complete the quilled fish.

Now give that fish a smile, the quilled fish now has a cute little pink mouth.

Step 6:

Cut out a small half-moon shape from pink colored craft paper; this will be the mouth of the fish. Glue it on the teardrop shape, below the googly eye. Allow the glue dry.
