Simplicity
Simplicity
Today was simply too beautiful to pass up.
The sun was shining, the sky was blue and there was that cooling breeze that was just perfect. It’s always nice to stop and take in the simple things in life.
To see how small we really are in this world. But what a small fragment we are a part of in the larger, much bigger workings that is life. Often with the bustle and often hurried way of life you seem to forget to indulge in nature, open your eyes in a more juvenile kind of way.
I see it in my daughter, through her eyes. She is amazed by nature and she sees things in a completely different way than I do.
Think about it.
When is the last time you stopped and picked a dandelion and blew its remnants into the wind? Or the last time you climbed to high altitudes just to see the marvelous view below?
I did.
And I’m grateful for where life has taken me, grateful for those who remain with me and grateful for those I left behind. Every person or situation you come across is only a stepping stone to self-realization.
Life lessons and realities.
It is up to us to pick and choose which we take with us and to which fashion we mold them. The only person you want to prove something to is yourself, for we are our greatest critics.

It is not only imbecilic but, saddening if you live life to satisfy others.
Above all, life is too short for the “what-if’s”, too short for the “I should haves” and most definitely too short for denial. If that is the way you trek through life, you’re really not living at all.
But, I…
Well, I choose to live.
