Sunbeam Cuddle Up Heated Throw Review: Plus, Canadian Cancer Society and Sunbeam Supports With Warmth This Winter. #SupportsWithWarmth
Sunbeam Cuddle Up Heated Throw.
Two words: Polar Vortex.
I am more than positive that you all clearly remember the snow, ice and chill that made up our winter last year. I can only imagine what this year will be like and if you like to plan ahead like me, I make plans to stay warm this winter. When I get cold, my feet get ice-cold and it often takes me blasting the heat and several blankets to defrost them. I’d much prefer something soft, constantly warm and that is making a difference in other’s peoples lives, but first–let me show you this beauty!

Easy to Use.
The Cuddle Up Heated Throw that I received suited my personality perfectly. I loved the sassy leopard print, the soft fleece and the simplicity of it. All you have to do is literally plug it in, find your favorite spot and enjoy. Don’t forget your favorite book either! What I love is the remote control has a clip, so you can clip it into your pocket or you can tuck away your smartphone to enjoy some unplugged time.
So, even if it is a bit chilly out, or if the weather outside is frightful and when the polar vortex hits again–you’re prepared. With the Sunbeam Cuddle Up Heated Throw, you have 3 settings to choose from. Low, Medium and High. If you get so cuddly and warm and fall asleep while using the throw, it has a 3-hour auto off function. You can also throw it in the wash as it is washing machine and dryer safe. One thing is for sure, we will be staying warm this winter.
Wheels of Hope.
Each year, thousands of Canadians affected by cancer rely on patient transportation programs to get to and from life-saving treatment. This can be one of the most challenging tasks they face, especially if treatment is far from home.
Sunbeam is proud to launch Supports with Warmth, an awareness and fundraising campaign in support of the Canadian Cancer Society’s patient transportation programs, like Wheels of Hope in Ontario. These programs strive to provide safe and reliable transportation for those receiving active treatment from approved cancer treatment facilities.
Above, you can take a look at the story of Kelly Tugnett, a single mother whose son Jaxson, was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer at six months old. She didn’t have a driver’s licence and through the help of the program and volunteer driver, Florence Devitt, she was able to get Jaxson to his treatment until he was cancer-free.
Warmth. Comfort and Support.
Through Sunbeam’s program, Sunbeam is donating 75,000 kilometres to the Wheels of Hope transportation program. Since they know that feeling cold or chilled may be a side effect of cancer and its treatment, Sunbeam is also donating warmth with 500 Sunbeam Heated Throws to distribute to cancer patients in Ontario.
Didn’t I tell you that it was amazing and that I loved a company that is making a difference?
