With the Christmas season winding down and the New Year in full swing, we were absolutely stoked to try out the Pig Rock Raceway from Hasbro.  It’s a pretty wicked set that allows you to race your opponent down a track that is guarded by many enemy pigs and obstacles.

The girls are HUGE Angry Birds fans and when they saw the game set, they couldn’t contain their excitement.

About the Game:

Race head-to-head to topple the pirate pigs! Slingshot your kart through swinging obstacles and avoid the pigs to be the first to finish the line. Continue the racing action on your mobile device by using the included TELEPODS base to teleport  your kart into the new ANGRY BIRDS GO! app. Set includes two karts featuring favorite ANGRY BIRDS characters, one of which is exclusive to the set.

Ready to Rock.

One of the coolest features is the TELEPODS base that comes with the karts. This set, in particular, comes with King Pig and Red Bird and Gabs already had the app installed on her tablet.

She thought it was the coolest thing to actually teleport her characters right into her game. Quite frankly, I was impressed too and thought it was really cool seeing the character loaded right into the game!

Gabby and Mimi show you how to play the game and how to transport your characters into your Angry Birds app. You can see how fun it is and also how anxious they were to play. They even forgot to put the decorative stickers on. Regardless, they had a blast and have been playing peacefully ever since! That’s a plus for me!

Angry Birds GO!

The Pig Rock Raceway Set lets you launch into high-flying, speed-racing fun! Load your 2 karts on the launchers and fire them into a bird-on-bird race down the track. Can you get past the falling dynamite and the pigs that fall out of the big pig peril? Can you knock the pirate pig off the treasure chest?

Simple and Crazy FUN!

The girls have had tons of fun and though it’s found a permanent place on the carpet, we’ve all been playing. It’s a game that can be played with the whole family and that’s a huge plus when it comes to spending time with your kids.

Plus, it helps that we love Angry Birds and have loved them since they first came out. Not to mention, these little karts fly, you can see it pictured above, moving super fast that it blurred!
